Planewatching (2018)

People observe birds; thus we had the term "birdwatching". There are people also watching planes; thus there should be a term for this behaviour as well. I call it "planewatching". Planes can be a representation of freedom, dreams and travel. By documenting the people who watch planes around Toronto Pearson International Airport, I hope to bring out the complex emotions that people would have when they are watching those huge machines roaring in front of them.
